Are you a parent who won't let their kids watch and R- or X-rated film? Turns out there's a lot less films to see that way. A new study shows more than half of all films rated by the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) since it launched its content rating system 50 years ago, are R-rated films.
Bottom line: 17,202 of the 29,791 films --57 percent-- are R-rated. Good luck with the kids!
ROSEANNE probably won't like it, but ABC has added another episode to “The Conners” sitcom, despite the fact that the ratings for the premiere dropped --as well as losing 25 percent of viewership between the first and second episode. Now we'll find out if it get renewed --or whether the additional episode is being used simply to say "Goodbye."
Gotta love the story about GAVIN HAZLEWOOD --the six-year-old who gave MEGHAN MARKLE a homemade pasta necklace and approached her with a sign during her stop in Melbourne, Australia last week. The Duchess gladly accepted the necklace from Gavin, and now People magazine reports his family decided to create a website where fans can purchase the dinosaur-shaped pasta with gold paint necklaces for $20. And it's working -- Gavin's already gotten orders from the UK, the US, and his home country (of course) and says he's decided to donate all his profits to a stillborn research charity --since he'd have a sister except for the fact that his mom previously lost a baby girl.
