ARETHA FRANKLIN's concert film, "Amazing Grace," was filmed 46 years ago, but Variety is reporting that after her passing earlier this year, Aretha's estate has reached an agreement which would allow the film to be shown to the public for the very first time. Starting this coming Monday, it'll have showings in both New York and LA and be up to contend for the Best Documentary category at the 2019 Oscars.
Recall dep't: Conagra Brands has recalled 2.4 million boxes of its Duncan Hines cake mix, after the FDA and the CDC said a sample of Duncan Hines Classic White Cake Mix that contained Salmonella Agbeni matched the Salmonella collected from ill persons reported to the CDC. Movie types are predicting that "The Grinch" will make between $55 million to $65 million when it launches this weekend on more than four-thousand screens. Other movies opening are "The Girl In the Spider's Web" as well as "Overlord."
