Whoops! Looks like TOM CRUISE will be replaced as Jack Reacher in the upcoming movie about the character. Author LEE CHILD, who created the book series, originally described his military policeman character as six feet, five inches tall, while Cruise is five feet, seven inches tall.
"Cruise, for all his talent, didn't have that physicality," Child told BBC Radio. So what I've decided to do is - there won't be any more movies with Tom Cruise. Instead we're going to take it to Netflix or something like that... We're rebooting and starting over and we're going to try and find the perfect guy."
Insiders say Marvel creator STAN LEE was working on an entirely new superhero in the days before his death. His daughter tells TMZ the new character was going to be called "Dirt Man" --"I said, 'Daddy, please - no clatter, no steel, no any of that. Let's get down and dirty.' It is very interesting." JOAN CELIA LEE --better known as "JC Lee" didn't say at this point whether the idea would be going further without her dad.
The latest celebrity to get a star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame will be MICHAEL BUBLE this Friday morning at 11:30 am (Pacific). The star will be located at 6270 Hollywood Boulevard in front of W Hollywood Hotel, and DAVID FOSTER, PRISCILLA PRESLEY and the co-Chairman of Warner Brothers Records, TOM CORSON, will be on hand to help unveil the star. Michael's new album, "Love" will be released Friday as well.
CBS said yesterday that IAIN ARMITAGE, who stars on the TV show "Young Sheldon," in the title role, will be making a cameo on an upcoming episode of "The Big Bang Theory" which will air this December. It could be a dream sequence, maybe a time travel episode --nobody's talking right now but it could be cool to see the younger version of JIM PARSONS' character with Jim before "The Big Bang Theory" itself wraps at the end of this season. -
