Check, please: 72-year-old TERRY SANDERSON is suing GWYNETH PALTROW, accusing her of knocking him down and leaving him with a brain injury, short term memory loss and four broken ribs. The accident took place in 2016 at a Utah ski resort and Terry claims she immediately left the scene without checking to see he was OK. He wants $3.1 million in damages.
CRAIG RAMON, who was skiing with Sanderson at the time, claims he saw Gwyneth hitting him in the back, knocking him over and falling on top of him. She has denied the story.Rumor has it you'll hear SpongeBob SquarePants voice guy RODGER BUMPASS, who does the voice for Squidward, announce MAROON 5's halftime show at Sunday's Super Bowl LIII. The rumor got started after Bumpass allegedly posted something on his (private) Facebook page, but nobody can see it. There's also a rumor going around that fans have asked Maroon 5 to play "Sweet Victory" in their halftime show to honor SpongeBob creator STEPHEN HILLENBUG, who passed away in November --the reason being that in one of the Spongebob Season 2 episodes, SpongeBob and his friends perform the song as the halftime entertainment at their world's version of the Super Bowl --the Bubble Bowl. We'll see if it happens...
And a final bit of news for "Star Trek" fans. Turns out "The Big Bang Theory" has gotten WILLIAM SHATNER to show up in an upcoming episode. It'll be the first time he's ever appeared on the show, despite the stars being huge fans of "Star Trek" thru the series, which ends this season. The show's Twitter account has announced an upcoming episode packed with guest stars, including Shatner, saying "Get ready for the ultimate Dungeons and Dragons battle coming soon to The Big Bang Theory." Guests on the episode will reportedly also include JOE MANGANIELLO, KEVIN SMITH, KAREEM ABDUL-JABAR and WIL WHEATON.
