Like you really care: It's being reported that MEGHAN MARKLE spilled the beans about her baby-to-be with PRINCE HARRY at her baby shower in New York City earlier this month --and it's reportedly gonna be --a boy! Baby X --no matter whether it will be male or female-- will be seventh in line for the throne. Prince Harry is currently sixth in line for the throne.
The Philadelphia Phillies signed BRYCE HARPER to a 13 year deal for $330 Million ---the largest in major league history. It's a no-cut deal on both sides. That'd work out to a mere $25.38 million a year, or for a 162-game season, about $156,695 dollars a game (assuming he'll play every game). Looks like the hot dogs will be costing a little more at Citizen's Bank Park this year. The Nationals will received a 2019 supplemental first round draft pick as compensation for losing Harper, who rejected their $17.9 million qualifying offer earlier this winter.
Lotsa talk about Walmart's decision to change the qualifications for its front-door greeters at its more than a thousand stores nationwide. As it stands now, many of the "greeters" are disabled workers who will not be able to qualify for the new jobs, which now require standing for extended periods, climbing ladders, the ability to lift and move 25-pound packages, checking receipts, writing reports and helping with product loss investigations.
The changes will reportedly go into effect at the end of April but greeters with disabilities such as cerebral palsy, spina bifida and other physical problems are now worried that they will be let go and lose one of the few jobs --and the much-needed income-- they could get. For its part, Walmart says it's attempting to place greeters in other jobs at the company.Ever been to the world's largest truckstop? Even if you're not driving a big rig, it's worth a stop at Exit 284 on Interstate-80 in Walcott, Iowa.
The Iowa 80 Truckstop, which has been there since 1964, has all the service items a trucker could want, but also has fast food joints (Wendy's, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, Dairy Queen, Blimpies, Einstein Brothers Bagels) as well as a 24-hour kitchen.
Plus, a barbershop, chiropractor, dentist, workout room, laundry, library, movie theatre, private showers, a "dogomat" pet wash and a store that will let you customize the clothing you buy there with embroidery, make business cards and much, much more. Check out the website HERE.
