For you guys who always admired those electric cars but couldn't give up your pickup, Ford is now making their F-150 into an all-electric vehicle. And for those of you worried about the pulling capacity, the Ford folks say the new all-electric version managed to pull 10 railcars loaded down with 42 F-150s a total distance of 1,000 feet-- for a total combined weight of well over a million pounds.
Now the only question is... how far will it go on a single charge?Harvard researchers now say they believe that daily, low-dose aspirin that millions of people are taking to stave off the possibility of a heart attack --don't need to take it. In fact, only people who have already had a heart attack --or stroke-- or those folks who've been diagnosed with heart disease should be taking one.
In fact, taking that aspirin apparently can lead to digestive-tract bleeding, along with some other side effects, according to them. Bottom line --instead of dosing yourself, check with your doctor before doing anything.First daughter IVANKA TRUMP got a bunch of laughs yesterday when she mistakenly tweeted "Congratulations @BorisJohnson on becoming the next Prime Minister of the United Kingston." And, of course, the phrase "United Kingston" trended for awhile as well.
As Dave Samuelson laughingly put it: "Send her back!"Those anti-government protests in Puerto Rico have already had an affect on the country's economy --and that of some cruise companies, as two cruise ship companies have cancelled stops in San Juan.
If you're late to the parade, the protests are directed toward Governor Ricardo Rosselló, after nearly a thousand pages of private chats were published, including homophobic, misogynistic, and obscene messages targeting female politicians and even singer RICKY MARTIN.
Now, one tourism company says the island could lose $2.5 million bucks because the cruise ships won't be stopping there. And, of course, that's piled on top of the debt caused by Hurricane Maria, which still remains. -
