Biggest story of the day: First he had a bout of pneumonia, now EDDIE MONEY says he has stage four esophageal cancer and his fate is in "God's hands." Eddie made the revelation in a video clip released Saturday from his AXS TV reality series called "Real Money." Eddie said he discovered he had cancer after what he thought was a routine checkup, learning from the doctor that the disease had spread to his liver and lymph nodes. Eddie has not had a good year -he had heart valve surgery earlier this year and after recovering from that, had to cancel his summer tour after a bout with pneumonia.
It was 80 years ago Sunday that "The Wizard of Oz," starring Judy Garland, Ray Bolger, Jack Haley, Bert Lahr, Billie Burke and Margaret Hamilton, opened across the U-S (1939). By the way, a little known fact -the munchkins in that movie were paid less than Dorothy's dog. The actors received $50 a week, compared with the $125 paid out to Toto's owner and trainer.
Disney revealed Sunday that EMMA STONE will play Cruella de Vil in the forthcoming live-action film "Cruella." The film will also star Emma Thompson, Paul Walter Hauser and Joel Fry, but won't be out until mid-2021.
Good news for "Breaking Bad" fans. The AMC series ended six years ago, but over the weekend, Netflix said it will release El Camino, a new movie starring AARON PAUL, on October 11th. The film will reportedly pick up where the series left off.
