The Hollywood moment you've been waiting to announce: there's a movie called 'Mothertrucker' in the works. Hollywood tabloids say JILL SOLOWAY will be writing the film and direct JULIANNE MOORE in it. 'Mothertrucker' is a book about a 50-year-old Instagram celebrity called "Joy Mothertrucker," who's reportedly America's only female ice road trucker.
The actual book will be in bookstores in early 2022.

First there was the FREDDIE MERCURY story in "Bohemian Rhapsody," then ELTON JOHN's story in "Rocketman." Now there's a new series coming on Hulu about the WU-TANG CLAN. "Wu-Tang: An American Saga," has been created and co-written by rapper RZA. The 10-episode series premieres on Hulu Sep 04.

Lotsa talk about the problems with vaping --the latest being that counterfeit weed vape cartridges are making people sick. Rolling Stone magazine reported yesterday that patients have been admitted to the hospital because of chest pain, nausea, fever, and shortness of breath --from counterfeit THC cartridges bought on the black market through the internet.
The CDC has also said there have been nearly 200 cases of severe lung illness (and one death) linked to vaping and that in multiple cases, the patients had reported using THC-containing products.
