DWAYNE "The Rock" JOHNSON will be coming back to the WWE's "Smackdown" on Friday night --the show's 20th anniversary.
In a post on social media, he wrote "FINALLY...I come back home to my @WWE universe... And there's no place like home. Tequila on me after the show." HULK HOGAN, RIC FLAIR, KURT ANGLE, LITA and MICK FOLEY are also among the returning stars on the show.If you've been to Yellowstone National Park, you know the 500 or so geysers there are caused by boiling water --some as hot as 199 degrees in the higher elevations-- and there are signs not to get too close to them.
But you also need to watch where you're stepping. On Sunday, a 48-year-old tourist suffered severe thermal burns after he tripped and fell into a hot spring near the Old Faithful geyser.
Park rangers said they detected "evidence" of alcohol use back in the tourist's hotel room.If you live in Los Angeles, you could visit the United States' first pot restaurant, which opens today (Tue, Oct 1) in West Hollywood. Lowell Farms: A Cannabis Cafe is America's first licensed cannabis consumption lounge and restaurant where diners can eat a meal while smoking pot or eat cannabis-infused edibles on the premises.
But there's a catch --the restaurant is prohibited from serving any cannabis-infused food made on the premises. The chef, ANDREA DRUMMER, has created a number of dishes that complement cannabis, and you can buy various cannabis products at the dispensary in the restaurant and you can buy 'em and smoke 'em if you got 'em while you're eating.
There's also cannabis beverages, bongs, and Lowell Farms' own pre-rolled joints, which can be delivered by so-called "Flower hosts," who will roll a joint right at your table.Looks like FELICITY HUFFMAN's daughter, SOPHIA, will be taking the SAT exam again. According to TMZ, Sophia wants to apply to colleges for which she'd need to take the exam, because the College Board folks say there wasn't sufficient proof that she knew her mother paid $15-grand to a proctor to change her original exam answers on the last one she took.
Felicity was sentenced to 14 days behind bars and a $30-thousand dollar fine after she pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud back in May.
LORI LOUGHLIN and her husband, MOSSIMO GIANNULLI, were also accused of paying $500-thousand dollars to a guy in order to get their daughters onto the University of Southern California's crew team despite neither girl ever being a rower. They didn't take the plea deal that other parents allegedly involved in the case --including Huffman-- accepted. And instead of a 14-day sentence like Huffman, they could face up to 40 years behind bars if they are convicted on all charges, including money laundering and conspiracy. -
