Sorry to hear about GINGER BAKER's passing... his daughter said he suffered "from many long term conditions" including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, which "he spoke of in many more recent interviews," she said in a statement Sunday. He underwent open heart surgery in 2016 and CNN reports he spent his last years on a ranch in South Africa with his polo horses.
"He was so unique and had such a distinctive personality," STEWART COPELAND of the POLICE once said "Nobody else followed in his footsteps. Everybody tried to be JOHN BONHAM and copy his licks, but it's rare that you hear anybody doing the Ginger Baker thing."Disney is reportedly working on a new Inspector Gadget live-action film. MATTHEW BRODERICK played the Inspector in the 1999 film which made nearly $135 million worldwide.
PRINCE HARRY is suing the London Sun and the Daily Mirror, claiming they hacked his phone, to give them "illegal interception of voicemail messages." This --of course-- is not the first time the royal family has sued the tabloids, and is mere days after his wife, MEGHAN sued the Sunday edition of the Mail for alleged copyright infringement, misuse of private information and violating the U.K.'s data protection law after the paper published a letter she wrote to her father.
Harry accused the British tabloids of hounding Meghan the way it did his mother, PRINCESS DIANA, who died in that 1997 car crash while trying to elude paparazzi.Yes, it happened in Florida Saturday: A 37-year-old Florida woman climbed up into the ceiling of a Big Lots store and crawled around for nearly six hours trying to evade the store's officials and deputies who were called after the manager went inside the women's restroom to check on her after she "entered the women's restroom with a shopping cart full of merchandise" and he noticed "tile missing from the ceiling" and KRISTINE PERKINS nowhere in sight.
Sheriff's deputies finally spotted her "several times by removing tiles from various points in the ceiling" and the store was evacuated because they thought she might fall through the ceiling tiles. They also found her purse, which reportedly had "three syringes and a spoon with white residue that tested positive for Morphine" inside. She finally was spotted coming down from the ceiling using a stack of shelves around 1:40 in the morning.
