Get well, HALLE BERRY!Halle picked up a minor injury while filming a fight scene in her upcoming mixed martial arts movie, "Bruised in New Jersey." She's actually directing the film, too, which really is being done in the Garden State at Mack’s Elite Heat Boxing Gym in lovely Newark.
Filming is reportedly going to continue until the beginning of December.Comedian KEVIN HART has picked up a new, six-part documentary series on Netflix called (watch it): “Don’t F--k This Up.” The series, which will show Kevin's daily schedule and his home life as well as his stand-up comedy gigs and more, will debut on Netflix on Dec. 27.
Who knew TOM HANKS --who plays MISTER ROGERS in the new movie about the TV star out this coming weekend-- was actually related to FRED ROGERS.
Access Hollywood asked Ancestry.com to see if the pair were related in any way, and Sunday they informed Tom he was actually Fred's sixth cousin. Their common ancestor, named JOHANNES MEFFERT, immigrated from Germany to America in the 18th century.
In clips from the upcoming movie, you can almost see the resemblance between the two.
FYI: If you didn't know, Fred Rogers passed away in 2003, aged 74.Interesting move from the Federal Communications Commission, which has proposed new phone number like 911 which would be used to call for help in case somebody has attempted to commit suicide.
The new number, which they want to be 988, could be used "to help combat the country's growing 'suicide epidemic'," according to FCC Chairman AJIT PAI. There is already a suicide hotline at 1-800-273-8255, and Chairman Pai says the counselors took more than 2.2 million calls and had 100-thousand online chats last year alone.Congratulations to THE WHO, as PETE TOWNSHEND and ROGER DALTREY unveiled the first plaque --called a "stone" on London's brand-new Music Walk of Fame yesterday. The new Walk of Fame is like Hollywood's Walk of Fame, and the creators reportedly plan is to unveil up to 20 stones per year. No word on how much it will cost to get a "stone" on the British Walk of Fame, but the Hollywood Walk of Fame charges stars (or their companies, like record labels or movie companies) $50-thousand dollars to get a star.
