We're less than a week away from Thanksgiving and of course, Black Friday and Cyber Monday that weekend. The National Retail Federation says an estimated 165.3 million people likely to shop from Thanksgiving Day through Cyber Monday, with most people saying the deals are too good to pass up.
While we're on the subject, the annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade kicks off at 9 am (Eastern) on Thursday, with 40 novelty balloons, 16 character balloons, 26 floats, marching bands and more.
The parade was first held in 1924, and this year Verizon is doing a first --a 360-degree experience with virtual balloons which will appear and change based on viewer feedback.Fast food: The folks at Kellogg's are rolling out what they describe as an afternoon snack --a Pop-Tarts Pretzel in two flavors: Chocolate and Cinnamon Sugar.
