If you're a fan of the "Cannonball Run" movies, you'll be interested to know that the cross-country record has been broken, with Road & Track reporting that a Mercedes-Benx sedan driven by Arne Toman and Doug Tabutt, along with spotter Berkely Chadwick, made it from New York City to Redondo Beach, CA, in 27 hours and 25 minutes --two hours faster than the record. They reportedly averaged 103 mph on their 2,825-mile trip, and hit a top speed of 193 mph at an undisclosed location.
THE WHO is coming back to Cincinnati for a concert at the BB&T Arena in Northern Kentucky on April 23, 40 years after 11 people were killed in a stampede during their show at the Riverfront Coliseum. ROGER DALTREY and PETE TOWNSHEND will head the lineup.

Time magazine says although the British boy band ONE DIRECTION appeared on the cover of a British edition of Cosmopolitan back in December 2012, Van Ness "is the first non-female-identifying figure to land the cover on their own since Boy George in 1984."Speaking of gender, actor BILLY DEE WILLIAMS tells Esquire magazine he identifies with both male and female.
"You see, I say 'himself' and 'herself,' because I also see myself as feminine as well as masculine," The 82-year-old actor said. "I'm a very soft person. I'm not afraid to show that side of myself." -
