Puppy Bowl XVI is coming up before the Super Bowl Feb 02 at 3 pm (Eastern) on the Animal Planet cable channel. The Puppy Bowl pits 42 players in the starting lineup for Team Ruff and Team Fluff and there'll also be a Kitty Half-Time Show featuring (wait for it) Jenni-Purr Lopez and Cat-ira performing a special rendition of "Catnips Don't Lie!"

Work on their latest album will apparently be happening after their summer tour with SQUEEZE and KT TUNSTALL. It will be their first new album in 17 years.The US Food and Drug Administration is ticked off at the makers of Purell products, telling them to stop making claims that its hand sanitizer is effective at eliminating diseases. At issue is the company's website and social media which says their hand sanitizers could reduce the risk of illnesses including Ebola, norovirus, influenza and MRSA.
Hand sanitizers without a high concentration of alcohol between 60 and 95 percent "merely reduce the growth of germs rather than kill them outright," according to the CDC.How about taking the kids to an Atari hotel? CNN reports the company is opening its own chain of branded hotels with the first one in Phoenix, Arizona, due to be finished in around two years.
Company officials say there will be spaces set up with gaming consoles where parents can host parties for kids, or perhaps something like a video game slumber party. And yes, the rooms will be decorated in themes from Atari games.
Other hotels are reportedly planned for Las Vegas, Denver, Chicago, Austin, Seattle, San Francisco and San Jose.Fast food: Krispy Kreme is bringing back its heart-shaped doughnuts for Valentines Day. They'll be on sale for the next two weeks thru the big day.
