The Valentine's Day promotions are already beginning, and Denny’s restaurants are marking the date by offering fans the chance to tie the knot or renew their vows in Denny’s pop-up Las Vegas Chapel this Valentine's Day --and for free.
But --there's a limited time when you'll be able to do it --just from noon till 6 pm on Valentine's Day.
And --there's an area for the reception afterward, with wedding pancake puppies cake and champagne toast.
Normally, the wedding would cost $199, so if you can't make it on Valentine's Day, you can always reserve a spot by going to the website dennys.com/vegasweddings/
And with February 14th coming up, the National Retail Federation says ‘Galentine’s Day’ is a thing, too. That began back in 2010 in an episode of the TV show “Parks and Rec” as a way to celebrate female friendships. And the company, which tracks holiday spending, says since 2010, expected spending on Valentine’s Day gifts for friends has nearly tripled, from $737 million to $2.1 billion.
Hollywood experts believe the new MARGOT ROBBIE film, "Birds of Prey," will top this weekend's box office and knock "Bad Boys for Life" out of the top spot after three weeks. "Birds of Prey" is rated R, and features Robbie back as Harley Quinn, from the 2016 movie, "Suicide Squad."
JANELLE MONÁE made headlines this week in an interview with The Cut, when she said her pescatarian diet --eating lots of fish and seafood along with vegetables-- gave her mercury poisoning which she's recovering from. Obviously, the mercury poisoning is from eating the large amounts of seafood.
