Sorry to hear that actress Ja’Net DuBois, who played Willona Woods on “Good Times,” was found dead in her Glendale, CA. home yesterday. She had apparently passed away in her sleep. She was 74 year old and also wrote the theme song for “The Jeffersons,” “Movin’ On Up.” Ja’Net also won two Emmy Awards for her voice-over performances on “The PJs.”
There's reportedly a documentary series in the works about the problems with the Boeing 737-Max airplane, which caused mega-problems when two planes crashed within five months. Variety magazine reports filmmaker Rory Kennedy is working with Imagine Entertainment along with Brian Grazer and Ron Howard’s division at Imagine, to put the series together.
Wanna get married at a Disney theme park? It'll run you a minimum of $30,000 to have a nighttime wedding ceremony at Magic Kingdom in Orlando, Florida, overlooking Cinderella’s Castle. But there are other locations, and the folks at Disney say there's around 4-thousand weddings each year at Disney parks and cruises around the world. Plus, Disney has just unveiled (yeah --wedding... veils...) a new line of 16 wedding dresses from Allure Bridals that you can buy for the bride if you've got an extra $1,200 to $10,000 lying around. The dresses are reportedly the one Disney princesses would wear, including Ariel from “The Little Mermaid,” Aurora from “Sleeping Beauty,” Belle from “Beauty and the Beast,” Jasmine from “Aladdin,” Rapunzel from “Tangled,” Tiana from “The Princess and the Frog” as well as Cinderella, Pocahontas and Snow White. And, of course, that's on top of the price you'd fork over to get married at one of the parks or on a Disney Cruise Line ship.
