It doesn't take a genius to realize there've been lotsa problems for movie theatres during the coronavirus outbreak. The Wrap reports management of Cinemark theatres on an investor phone call yesterday said they have their fingers crossed they'll be able to reopen theaters by July first. No word on whether you'll still need to do social distancing once you're inside.
A new study claims that the rampant spread of coronavirus in New York City is due to the city's mass transportation systems, which jams passengers in --whether it's a bus, subway or train. Fox News says the report, by an MIT professor and physician, blames the rapid spread primarily on subways, due to inhalable droplets or residual fomites left on railings, pivoted grab handles, and those smooth, metallic, vertical poles that everyone shares.
Then there's also the crowded restaurants, bars, sports arenas, concerts, and businesses as well. "The things that make New York happen,” MTA chairman Pat Foye said.
Good news for PARIS JACKSON, who will reportedly star as Jesus Christ in a new movie called “Habit.”
BELLA THORNE stars in the film and plays a woman with a Jesus fetish who masquerades as a nun in order to escape a drug deal gone wrong. But every time you see Jesus, it's played by Paris Jackson, Michael's daughter.
Congratulations to AMY SCHUMER, who's officially changed her 11-month-old son's name after realizing that his birth name --GENE ATTELL FISCHER-- could be pronounced "Genital" Fischer. That move will likely be a godsend to the kid once he gets to high school. The name Attell is from DAVE ATTELL, the comedian, who's Amy and her husband Chris' good friend. Gene's new middle name --David-- is also Amy's father's middle name --and Dave Attell's first name, so it all worked out.
