Good news: "Harry Potter" author J.K. ROWLING revealed Monday she's recovered from a suspected case of COVID-19 after two weeks of illness.
More coronavirus cancellations: the San Diego Comic-Con has been canceled for the first time in a half-century. In addition, WonderCon Anaheim, which was to have been held April 10-12 at the Anaheim Convention Center, has been rescheduled to March 26-28, 2021.
Also, the Montreux Jazz Festival will not be held in July --it's the first time since its launch in 1967 that the Swiss summer festival has not taken place.
On the other hand, if you live in Georgia, Gov. BRIAN KEMP announced yesterday that gyms, hair and nail salons will also be allowed to reopen starting on April 24, while movie theaters and restaurants in the Peach State will get the nod on April 27. Dr. SANJAY GUPTA lives there and he says he's "really worried" about re-opening businesses so soon.
Pushing up daisies (but not from coronavirus): TOM LESTER, the guy who played Eb Dawson on "The Beverly Hillbillies" and would say, "Golll-lee, Mr Douglas." He was 81. The Wrap reports he originally got the gig over 400 other actors because he actually knew how to milk a cow in real life.
