It's ba-a-a-a-ack! The Motorola Razr phone is back, and Motorola is offering a buy one, get one free deal on the flip-phone in honor of Mother’s Day. And yes, it's not the same old phone --it now features smartphone and touchscreen technology. Check out Verizon.com or Motorola.com through May 10th or while supplies last.
Last week we told you about crooks hitting liquor stores for goods in this time of social distancing and quarantines. The latest crime report comes from Washington state, where a couple of women, disguised as nurses in dark blue scrubs, stole packages off porches. The CDC says that despite warnings about the spread of coronavirus, it's not very likely that you can get it from domestic or international mail or its packaging. However, you should not touch your own face after handling it and make sure to wash your hands thoroughly.
Finally, you probably know today is "Star Wars Day" May 4, and as a reminder, this year the Disney-Plus cable channel is doing a new documentary on "The Mandalorian," called "Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian." It's an eight-part series with part one tonight and the following episodes on subsequent Fridays. Also, Disney has the season finale of "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" tonight as well. StarWars.com sez the finale will explore “the events leading up to Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith.” Enjoy.
And let's not forget the 40th anniversary of "The Empire Strikes Back," is coming up --it premiered May 21, 1980, and was the film that introduced Yoda along with BILLY DEE WILLIAMS' character, Lando Calrissian as well. Say it with me: "May the Force (Fourth) be with you."
