If you're like me, you probably wondered why it seemed there were less obnoxious robocalls to your phones while we're all bottled up at home doing our social distancing part. Well, you're right. CNN Business reports the number of robocalls made to US phone numbers last month was the lowest in two years --around 2.86 billion calls. That's 30-percent less than usual. Turns out the reason is because call centers over in countries like India, Pakistan and the Philippines were shut down because of the whole coronavirus breakout, and because most of the workers don't have laptops in order to work from home, they've either lost their jobs or been furloughed. And it won't last. Government experts say the number of calls has already begun to rise again.
