Latest coronavirus cure: UV light. New info from scientists says ultraviolet light has been effective at killing the virus in hospitals, and New York City transit officials announced yesterday that they're putting together a pilot program using UV light to disinfect subway cars and buses.
See ya: “Batwoman” star RUBY ROSE has decided to punt out of the series just as the CW announced the show's second season. Warner Brothers, which produces the show, says they'll be looking for a new star for the show.
HALLE BERRY and JOSH GAD will be starring in a new movie called “Moonfall.” If you couldn't guess from the title, the sci-fi film from director Roland Emmerich is about the moon being suddenly knocked from its orbit around the Earth and --look out!-- heading right toward us unless we can stop it.
Wotta way to go: in Germany, a 55-year-old farmer has been convicted of drowning his wife in liquid manure. It happened back in 2018, and the trial for the farmer --who claimed his wife tragically fell into a slurry pit by accident-- ended yesterday with the farmer getting sentenced to 13-and-a-half years behind bars.
The Washington Times reports a new Politico/Morning Consult poll of US voters says 31 percent of them now see China as an enemy. That's up 11 points since January. In another question, nearly six in 10 voters (58%) say the US should work with China on combating the coronavirus pandemic.
