Today (Tuesday) is also the date of the first presidential debate on the Fox network for the upcoming election between PRESIDENT TRUMP and JOE BIDEN. MIKE WALLACE will be moderating the debate, and it's not his first, of course --in fact, he moderated the third debate between then-candidates DONALD TRUMP and HILLARY CLINTON before the last election.
Movie news: JAMES CAMERON now says the Avatar sequels are nearly finished, telling his "Terminator" star, ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER, during the recent Austrian World Summit, “We’re 100% complete on Avatar 2 and sort of 95% complete on Avatar 3.” In case you're wondering, Disney has rescheduled "Avatar 2" for December 16, 2022 and "Avatar 3" two years later, on December 20, 2024. And apparently there will also be an "Avatar 4" and "5" in 2026 and 2028.
TV News: The folks over at HBO have renewed BILL MAHER’s “Real Time” show for two more seasons, or thru 2022. Maher has been on now for 18 seasons.
Today's listener poll: Private security at the Roman Colosseum yesterday caught a 32-year-old Irishman using a metal item to carve his initials about 2-inches high onto a pillar of the 2,000-year-old structure. He's being charged with damaging a historical and artistic landmark. That could get him a year in prison or a minimum fine of $2,400.
Question for your listeners: Which landmark did you put your initials on?
