Some sad news: KEN SPEARS, who was the co-creator of “Scooby-Doo,” passed away last Friday. He was 82. Daily Variety reports he met JOE RUBY while working at Hanna-Barbera Productions, back in 1959 as a sound editor. The pair got together and wrote teleplays for several TV production companies, including “Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!” “Dynomutt,” “Dog Wonder” and “Jabberjaw” for Hanna-Barbera, and others.
With the sad passing of ALEX TREBEK, comes the really unpleasant news that GEORGE STEPHANOPOULOS has been lobbying to become the next host of ‘Jeopardy!’ Don't take my word for it --it's in The Wrap.
The Daily Mail interviewed PRINCESS DIANA's astrologer, PENNY THORNTON, who told them that PRINCE CHARLES told Diana --quote-- 'he didn't love her the night before their wedding'. Diana began to see the astrologer in 1986, five years after the wedding, and told her that the Prince made the remarks because he didn't 'want to go into their marriage on a false premise'.
Fast food news: We told you yesterday that McDonald's would be rolling out a new Crispy Chicken Sandwich, and yesterday, USA Today confirmed the rumor and --in an interview with IAN BORDEN, the company's international president, also found out that it's developed a new bunch of plant-based sandwiches, to be called "McPlants" with testing expected in various markets next year. In other Mickey D's news, the McRib Barbecue sandwich is coming back for the first time since 2012 as well.

As you probably heard, Pfizer revealed a Covid vaccine breakthrough yesterday morning, saying that the tests revealed it was more than 90% effective, leading to big boosts on Wall Street. Shares for AMC, the world's largest movie theater chain, and Cinemark Theatres were also up as much as 50-percent with the good news and Pfizer's stock went up 80-percent after the announcement.
At what point does a family stop trying for a child of one sex after having several children of the opposite sex?
