COVID update: Should you wear one of those five-layer N95 masks --if you could get one-- like the doctors wear? Yesterday, CDC Director Dr. ROCHELLE WALENSKY says don't bother: "They're very hard to breathe in when you wear them properly," he says. "They're very hard to tolerate when you wear them for long periods of time." In other words, stick with the mask that you've been wearing. Dr. ANTHONY FAUCI sez "The most important thing is that everybody should be wearing a mask" --at least one. And the CDC says even with the new variant of the Coronavirus, you don't need to wear TWO masks, but you should at least wear one. All the time.
If you're a member of the older generation, you probably remember a guy named Zorro, who used his sword to keep criminals at bay. Later, there were the movies, “The Mask of Zorro” and “The Legend of Zorro,” and now Variety sez there's a new TV series in the works which will not only include the masked guy, but also have a “large female presence.”

Hit the sad music: the upcoming 20th season of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” --starting March 18th on E! Entertainment TV-- will be its last. The Kardashians made the announcement yesterday on their various social media channels. Does this mean the paparazzi won't be following them, trying to get pictures of them and various clothing companies won't be standing in line to use them as spokeswomen? Don't hold your breath. Because Variety reports the reality stars will be doing a new deal with Hulu for various series which would begin later this year.
Postponed (again): Disney cruises. The folks who run “Happiest Place on Earth” say they won't be doing any of the scheduled March cruises because of the ongoing pandemic. The Disney Cruise Line people now say the "new" target date for setting sail is late April or early May when they will (hopefully) get an all-clear from the CDC.
Fun Food: Those LADY GAGA Oreo cookies are now in stores across the nation --"pink-colored Golden Oreo cookies with green colored creme" with designs inspired by her latest album, "Chromatica." Oreo also has a "Sing it with Oreo" contest through April 30 with the singer herself. Check it out at www.singitwithoreo.com.
Fast food (Warning: you probably don't want to do this if you have Subway commercials on your station): Two women in Alameda County, California, have filed a $5 million lawsuit which claims that Subway’s tuna sandwiches don't actually have any tuna in 'em. KAREN DHANOWA and NILIMA AMIN's lawsuit says they tried one of the tuna sandwiches near their home and say Subway’s tuna is “made from a mixture of various concoctions that do not constitute tuna, yet have been blended together by defendants to imitate the appearance of tuna,” but in fact, the sandwiches don't even have a “scintilla” of the fish. “Independent testing has repeatedly affirmed, the products are made from anything but tuna,” their suit claims. The women want a judge to make their suit a class action lawsuit. For their response, a Subway spokesperson said there were “no truth to the allegations,” and that the claims were “baseless” and “frivolous” and added that they had been “pursued without adequate investigation.”
