Superbowl 55 is now history... if you're not talking about that or the Puppy or Kitten Bowls, here are some other items...
See ya: LOU DOBBS hosted his final show on the Fox Business channel Thursday evening. Fox apparently pulled the plug on Friday thanks to a $2.7-billion dollar lawsuit by Smartmatic, claiming that Dobbs, along with pro-Trump attorneys RUDY GIULIANI and SIDNEY POWELL, got together to wage a "disinformation campaign" against Smartmatic in an effort to mislead the public into the false belief that the 2020 presidential election was stolen from former President DONALD TRUMP. Giuliani and Powell have also been sued by Dominion Voting Systems, another voting technology company, for promoting their voter fraud conspiracies as well.
While we're on the subject, arguments are set to start tomorrow (Tuesday) in Trump's impeachment trial, claiming he incited the mob that stormed the U.S. Capitol back on January 6th.
Some good news:
--Disney+ will be streaming the 1997 version of Rodgers and Hammerstein's classic, "Cinderella," starting this Friday. Starring BRANDY as the princess, along with WHITNEY HOUSTON as her fairy grandmother, it debuted on "The Wonderful World of Disney" 24 years ago, but after that, was relegated to VHS tapes and hasn't been on TV since...
--Valentine's Day is this coming Sunday. Better get shopping if you haven't already.
Cop stop: Out in Texas last week, police were able to seize nearly 60 pounds of methamphetamine after a traffic stop on I-10. The meth was actually found in a Volkswagen SUV after cops had a dog inspect the vehicle and it was actually inside of 10 ink toner cartridges, sealed in plastic. Police said the meth had an estimated street value of $2.7 million.
With the Coronavirus holding steady, we told you a couple of weeks ago about the virtual tours they were doing of ELVIS PRESLEY’s Graceland home. And even at nearly $100, there's been such a demand for the two-hour tour, they've decided to add four additional tours. There are four different types of tours to choose from, which take you through the mansion, the private jet, and Elvis’ car and clothes collection. and you'll be able to see various personal items on the private Facebook stream, as well as Elvis’ cars, jumpsuits, gold records, and movie memorabilia.
Question of the day: Why would anybody use super glue to keep their hair in place? Happened last month when TESSICA BROWN of Louisiana used Gorilla Glue to keep her hairdo set and in place. But after a month, she got on TikTok and said she couldn't wash it out, or remove it any way --and it had become so tight on her head it was giving her headaches. The folks at TMZ contacted the folks at Gorilla Glue, who said rubbing alcohol could help --but unfortunately the glue may have fractured Tessica's hair at its roots.
Ask the listeners: What hair problems have you had --and (hopefully) overcome?
Tube talk: The folks at Disney+ are doing a take-off of "Doogie Howser M.D.," but based in Hawaii. Called "Doogie Kameāloha, M.D.," it'll star PEYTON ELIZABETH LEE as a 16-year-old mixed-race girl who juggles a budding medical career and life as a teenager. She has an Irish mother (played by KATHLEEN ROSE PERKINS), who’s also a doctor and the Chief of Staff at the hospital where she works and Doogie's father (JASON SCOTT LEE) who's a local guy.
