Fast food (or maybe drink): The folks at PEPSI have rolled out a new flavor --Pepsi Mango, which will hit grocery and convenience stores next week in both regular and zero-sugar types.
KATHERINE HEIGL is recovering from neck surgery --getting two titanium disks in her neck-- and says she's now "bionic" after the surgery. She didn't say what caused her injury but said the doctors and nurses "saved me from the most excruciating pain I have ever experienced and blessed me with a new pain-free lease on life!" She's been married to musician JOSH KELLEY now for 14 years and has three children with him, a four-year-old son, an eight-and-a-half year old daughter and a 12-year-old son.
Do you like having fish enough so that you've thought about filling a whole swimming pool with 'em instead of that little tank in the basement? Because in Dutchess County, NY, that's what JOSH SEGUINE did. Although in his case it was a bit different --he filled his basement pool with seven sandbar sharks and was going to sell them over the internet --until he was arrested. Police had been investigating him ever since he was arrested in Georgia for driving without a license and for possessing five undersized sharks in a large circular tank in the back of his truck. When they showed up at his house in New York, they found the seven sharks swimming around, along with two dead leopard sharks, one dead hammerhead shark, and the snout of a smalltooth sawfish. Now he's been fined $5,000 and the sharks have been moved to the New York Aquarium at Coney Island.
Show Biz #1: MAYA RUDOLPH is getting her own comedy series on the streaming service Apple TV+. She'll play a woman “whose seemingly perfect life is upended after her husband leaves her with nothing but 87 billion dollars.” No word on the name of the series, co-stars or a start date at this point.
Show Biz #2: Netflix is remaking the movie, "She's All That" --but with a change in sexes. The new movie, called “He’s All That,” will star ADDISON RAE from TikTok in the lead role with “Cobra Kai’s” TANNER BUCHANAN as a young man she's attempting to make into a prom king. And, in a nice twist, RACHEL LEIGH COOK, who starred in the original film as Laney Boggs, will be Addison Rae's mom in the flick.
Now that DONALD TRUMP is no longer President, would you like to punch him out? That's apparently what people have been doing to his figure at Louis Tussaud’s Waxworks in San Antonio's Alamo Plaza recently. The local paper reports the wax dummy suffered damage from both punches and scratches to its face and the store has had to pack it up and put it away. Whether they'll patch it up and put it back on display is apparently anybody's guess at this point. Museum owner CLAY STEWART says they may have to wait until JOE BIDEN leaves office.
