Tube news: FOX TV is putting together a sequel series to “The Flintstones.” Warner Brothers Animation working on the series--called “Bedrock,” with ELIZABETH BANKS, who starred in the "Hunger Games" and "Pitch Perfect" film series, attached to star as an adult Pebbles Flintstone, all grown up 20 years after the original series. No word yet on who'll be playing Fred and Wilma, Barney and Betty Rubble, or Pebbles' brother, Bamm-Bamm.
And if you have Netflix, you'll be able to see the animated movie, “Vivo,” which features new music from LIN-MANUEL MIRANDA, the man behind the Broadway show, “Hamilton.” Variety reports the film, which was originally gonna be in theatres the first week in June, has been given to Netflix. No word on when it'll be on the streaming service at this point. The animated film is about a kinkajou named Vivo, which is voiced by Miranda. It also features GLORIA ESTEFAN as well.
Fast food: Want a big reaction at your next party? The folks who make Goldfish are bringing out a new version of the fish which are extra hot! In order to do this, they're using the hot sauce brand Frank’s RedHot, mixing them together with the standard goldfish fixin's and presto --Goldfish Frank’s RedHot crackers. Look for them in your local stores in May. And make sure you serve 'em with something cold to drink!
Like you really care: Walmart has complained to the folks who approve trademarks to products. The problem? They believe that KANYE WEST’s new Yeezy LLC logo looks too much like Walmart's trademarked spark logo. FOX Business reports Walmart wrote to West's company in July 2020, August 2020, January 2021 and February 2021 and also had a telephone conference last month about the Yeezy logo, which they think looks too much like Walmart's and could confuse people in stores.
Lastly, for those of you traveling to the UK and Ireland this summer --if you're staying at a Hilton Hotel, you can bring your dog. The hotel chain has unveiled a brand-new DOG MENU, with pet-friendly meals for the pooch including dishes like (here it comes...) Beef Doguignon and Mutt Roast. They call the menu (wait for it...) "Bone Appetit," and have had it developed with the help of veterinary nutrition experts and approved by the folks at DogFriendly.
