Good news for Lollapalooza fans --the music festival is set to return to Chicago's Grant Park in July, after being cancelled last year because of the pandemic. And city officials say the festival will have full capacity crowds (or near to it). The official lineup will be announced today (Wednesday).
He's dead, Jim: actor CHARLES GRODIN, who starred in classic films including "Heaven Can Wait," "Midnight Run," and the "Beethoven" movies, died Tuesday at his home in Connecticut. He was 86. The em>NY Times reported that his son said he died of bone marrow cancer.
Casting call: actor KUMAIL NANJIANI has been cast as Chippendales founder SOMEN "STEVE" BANERJEE in a brand-new Hulu limited series called "Immigrant." Variety reports the eight episode series will tell how Banerjee stated the nightclub and male revue. You may have seen Kumail starring in HBO's comedy series "Silicon Valley" as well as other shows.
More show biz news: The FOX network said yesterday they are "working" on a new reality show about seven-time Super Bowl quarterback TOM BRADY. Deadline reports no other details are available yet about the series, and whether it will be just about his football career or include his wife GISELE BÜNDCHEN and his private life as well (but it seems pretty likely).
Congrats to JENNIFER LOVE HEWITT, who announced yesterday she's pregnant with a third child with husband BRIAN HALLISAY. The couple already has a five-year-old son, ATTICUS, and a seven-year-old daughter, AUTUMN. Jennifer told People magazine she was “proud” of keeping her pregnancy a secret for so long, even while the character she plays on FOX's “9-1-1” series also was pregnant on the show.
Birth alert: Would you wanna be pregnant and have a new baby at 50-years-old? Supermodel NAOMI CAMPBELL just put the news that she's just gotten her first child --a baby girl-- yesterday on Instagram. However, it's still unknown how she became a mom --whether she gave birth herself, hired a surrogate, or adopted the baby --and whom the father might be.
