Deadline reports Netflix ordered eight episodes of an hour-long series starring ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER. The series will also star "Top Gun: Maverick" actress MONICA BARBARO as Ah-nold's daughter. As the series begins, they both learn each other has secretly been working for the CIA and are forced to team up as partners.
The “Sex and the City” reboot is also coming to HBO Max, and will be called “And Just Like That.” The limited series will have ten half-hour episodes and along with SARAH JESSICA PARKER, CYNTHIA NIXON and KRISTIN DAVIS, 45-year-old SARA RAMIREZ will also be joining the cast, playing “a nonbinary, queer stand-up comedian who hosts a podcast on which Carrie Bradshaw is regularly featured.” What happened to KIM CATTRALL? She's not gonna be in the new series.

And yes, it's been attributed to the pandemic --and could get worse because there's a new load of graduates coming as the 2021 grads join the out-of-work force. And it's a bit worse, since there are still professionals who were laid off during the pandemic and looking to reenter the job market as well. PS: Monster.com says the usual stats for college graduates is that 22-percent can't get a job right away. Today it's double that.
