Variety reports that new documentary on the Norwegian pop group, A-HA, will premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival on Saturday, June 12th. “A-ha The Movie” will show the three guys in the band over a four-year period, both on and off-stage --a good reason to play “Take On Me.” No word on a wide release for the film, yet.
And CHER, who turned 75-years-old this past Wednesday, spent some quality time online announcing a new film biography being done on her life. Deadline reports it'll be written by the same guy who also wrote the screenplay for "Forrest Gump," and produced by the same couple who produced "Mamma Mia!"
The movie “Fast & Furious 9” --known just as “F9”-- opens this weekend overseas, and it could be interesting to see the box office results because it won't be opening here in the US for another month --until June 25th.
The folks at WarnerMedia are giving you a chance to get HBO Max for $9.99 per month instead of $14.99. That's because for the cheaper price you'll haveta watch ads on the network. HBO Max debuts the first week of June, and of course they'd like as many people watching a$ po$$ible.
Not-so-fast food: The NY Post's Page Six reports bugs were recently found in a 2018 batch of reality star LISA VANDERPUMP's Rosé wine at a Las Vegas liquor store. The bottles, which looked to be infested with earwigs, were caught before being sold. Lisa's Rosé wine is made from grapes in Provence, France, and bottled by Palm Bay International. The company also has two other Vanderpump wines, Vanderpump Sonoma Coast Estate Chardonnay ($21.99) and Vanderpump Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon ($26.99) made with grapes from California. Wine.com reports the Vanderpump Rosé is going for $19.99.
