Fill it up now: With gas prices going up because of the Russian invasion of the Ukraine, experts say gas at $4 a gallon is now likely to be widespread across the country in a matter of weeks —if not sooner. Oil futures are already above $100 a barrel for the first time since 2014.
Actor Sean Penn is over in the Ukraine filming a documentary about Russia’s invasion. He’s already done his homework beginning back in late 2021 when he spent time filming the country’s military. Newsweek says he also spent time with the deputy prime minister, Iryna Vereshchuk, as well as members of the Ukrainian military. No word on when the documentary will be out.
Masks off: Target has dropped its requirement to for staff and shoppers to wear masks inside its store. The only time it will be required is if local regulations call for it in that state or city.
Salut! Reuters reports actor Leonardo DiCaprio has bought a stake in French champagne maker Telmont, which is owned by Remy Cointreau. Guess we can look forward to Leo in TV ads for the brand.

Benedict currently stars in “The Power of the Dog” and will star as ‘Doctor Strange’ in Marvel’s upcoming “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,” coming May 6th.
Actress Jennifer Lawrence is a new mom! She announced the event Wednesday, but did not give the exact date of the birth or the sex of the baby. The dad is art gallery owner Cooke Maroney, whom she tied the knot with back in October of 2019.
