The Oscars has the worst viewership in years, and the Grammy Awards this past Sunday weren't much better, with 8.9 million viewers, up just a little from last year’s 8.8 million viewers. The show was hosted by Trevor Noah, like last year, but in Las Vegas instead of last year's location in LA.
See ya! Kanye West has reportedly bagged his appearance at both weekends of the annual Coachella festival --April 15th to 17th and the 22nd to 24th in Indio, CA. Kanye didn't show up for the Grammy Awards after the Recording Academy said he couldn't perform following his latest “concerning online behavior.” The latest is that Kanye told his ex-wife Kim Kardashian that he was “going away to get help” and would not be “making any public appearances or inflammatory social media statements.”
CNN reports the Swedish electric car maker Polestar is selling up to 65-thousand electric vehicles to Hertz over the next five years. The four-bedroom, three-bathroom "resort-style" home has a chef's kitchen and French doors, a "spacious park-like yard" with a pool, a spa, a built-in barbecue bar, and alfresco dining from which you can see the ocean in a 180-degree panorama. Being the President's son doesn't suck.
There's apparently a lot of Russian big-wigs who own yachts, putting the money they made into a way of getting out of the country in style. But as you probably know, the US government has been seizing the yachts of Vladimir Putin's buddies as a way of getting to him. The latest one is a $90 million yacht which the feds found anchored in a Spanish port Monday. The 255-foot yacht was owned by Viktor Vekselberg, who's reportedly worth $5.7 billion dollars, so it's a drop in the bucket for him.
