War is hell, dep't: Interesting glimpse of the Ukranian war which claims Russia has lost almost 700 tanks in the two months they've tried to take over the Ukraine because the US has given Ukraine around 4-thousand Javelin anti-tank missiles (which obviously has helped). The UK has also reportedly gifted around 3,600 NLAW missiles as well.
If you haven't seen "The Batman" in theatres you won't have to wait too long to see it as Variety reports Warner Brothers is putting it on HBO Max next Monday. The film stars Robert Pattinson as Batman along with Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman and Paul Dano as the Riddler.
More movie news: “Fast and Furious” star Vin Diesel used his Instagram account to announce that Brie Larson, who plays Captain Marvel in movies, will be joining the cast of the upcoming “Fast and Furious 10” film.
In court: JOHNNY DEPP, who showed up for trial yesterday at Fairfax County Circuit Court in Virginia. At issue is whether or not he may have abused his ex-wife, Amber Heard. He previously sued her in 2019 over an op-ed she published in the Washington Post in which she claimed she'd become “a public figure representing domestic abuse.” A judge in the UK said he believed Amber’s account of a trip to Australia in March 2015, during which she claimed Johnny repeatedly assaulted her, grabbed her by the neck, and left her with cuts on her arms. The judge found that Johnny head-butted her and grabbed out clumps of her hair in December of 2015 and that he'd pushed her against a wall and grabbed her by the throat while they were traveling on a train in Southeast Asia. We'll see what will come of this trial in an American court and what incidents are cited.
Ratings report: turns out WrestleMania 38 beat out Super Bowl 56 when the analytics firm Conviva added up all the different media impressions. Wrestlemania picked up a combined 2.2 billion impressions across all social platforms, compared to 1.8 billion for the most recent Super Bowl. The WWE event also picked up 13.1 million hours of video watch time, while the Super Bowl had just 3.56 million hours of video watch time. Of course, WrestleMania lasted two nights and the Super Bowl was over in one afternoon.
If you're a “Curb Your Enthusiasm” fan, there's good news --star Larry David says the show will be back for its 12th season, although no start date was mentioned yet for the HBO show.
Fast food: CNN reports Krispy Kreme is giving customers a deal which will take the edge off higher gas prices. How? By lowering doughnut prices. Each Wednesday starting tomorrow (April 13th) through May 4th, Krispy Kreme will sell you a dozen original glazed doughnuts for the price of a gallon of regular gas, using each Monday's national average gas price for the dozen doughnuts. Yesterday's national average was $4.11 for a gallon, so the dozen original glazed Krispy Kreme doughnuts will cost just $4.11.
