The blue 1969 Fender Mustang guitar that Kurt Cobain used playing with Nirvana is being auctioned off by Julien's Auctions during a three-day auction starting Friday, May 20th. Kurt, of course, died by suicide in 1994. The folks at Julien's expect the guitar to go from $600,000 to $800,000. It was used in the video for "Smells Like Teen Spirit." The auction house said Monday that a portion of the guitar's proceeds will be donated to the program "Kicking The Stigma," a national program dedicated to "raising awareness about mental health disorders and to remove the stigma too often associated with these illnesses."

The movie will debut later this year.
The guys who run Lamborghini say if you'd like a new one, you'll have to wait more than a year for delivery --whether it's just an SUV or one of their super cars. Stephan Winkelmann, the CEO, says 70% of Lambo customers will be under 40 in 2025, and have acquired their fortune from crypto, stocks, tech companies and inheritances.
Question for your married listeners: What --and where-- did the proposal occur? Turns out Jennifer Lopez was soaking in a bubble bath (which she says is her favorite place on earth) when Ben Affleck proposed. "I was taken totally off guard and just looked in his eyes smiling and crying at the same time trying hard to get my head around the fact that after 20 years this was happening all over again, I was quite literally speechless and he said, 'is that a yes?' I said YES of course that's a YES."
The latest Quinnipiac University poll is out and just a third of all Americans --33 percent-- say they approve of how President Biden is handling his job. Biden’s approval rating among registered voters is not much better, at 35 percent. With that in mind, you probably won't be surprised to find out 94 percent of Republicans and 56% of independents say they disapprove of Biden’s job performance. Among Democrats, only 76 percent say they approve of the job he's doing.
First Tesla boss Elon Musk bought a large share of Twitter stock --9.2 percent-- and now says he wants to buy all of Twitter, claiming he's the right person to "unlock" Twitter's "extraordinary potential." Musk also threatened to sell his shares if the deal did not go through. "This is not a threat, it's simply not a good investment without the changes that need to be made," he claimed.
