Rescheduled: The Doobie Brothers tour, thanks to the Coronavirus. The band says they’ve had to reschedule shows in Georgia, Florida, and North Carolina because the virus has been spreading through their roadies and other members of the touring group.
More COVID: Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, who says he’s been “experiencing mild symptoms” and now plans to work remotely until he’s better. Buttigieg is 40 years old. Although other members of the President’s cabinet have gotten sick, Biden, who turns 80 in November, has managed to avoid it so far.
Passing: Bon Jovi bass player Alec John Such. He was 70 years old, and a founding member of the group from the early 80s, until he left the group in 1994. Jon Bon Jovi posted “Alec was integral to the formation of the band… he was a childhood friend of Tico [Torres] and brought Richie [Sambora] to see us perform…We will miss him dearly.”
Sorry to hear Ann Turner Cook, whose face was drawn and became the iconic Gerber baby logo in 1928, nearly a century ago when she was five months old, has died at the age of 95.
There’s an Addams Family TV series coming to Netflix about their daughter, “Wednesday.” Jenna Ortega from “Scream 5” plays the title role in the series about Wednesday, who’s enrolled at Nevermore Academy as a teenager and as she attempts to control her psychic powers. Catherine Zeta-Jones and Luis Guzmán will play her parents, Gomez and Morticia Addams.
President Joe Biden is scheduled to appear on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” Wednesday night. The President also appeared on Kimmel’s show back in 2019 when he was fighting for the Democratic nomination.
Kate Middleton’s younger sister, Pippa Middleton, and her husband, James Matthews, are expecting their third child. They have a three-year-old son named Arthur and a one-year-old daughter named Grace.
