Britney Spears and actor Sam Asghari reportedly got married in front of 60 invited guests in Los Angeles last night. She’s 40, he’s 28 and they first met on the set of her "Slumber Party" music video back in 2016. She wore a dress by Versace. Britney, of course, was married before to Kevin Federline, with who she shares two sons, 16-year-old Sean Preston, and 15-year-old Jayden James, but the NY Post says the boys did not attend the wedding.
While we’re on Versace, turns out Donatella Versace and her friend, Cher, have gotten together to put out a new collection to raise funds for Pride Month. The collection, called "Chersace", has T-shirts, socks and baseball hats with Versace's iconic Medusa logo. The T-shirts are priced at $425, except for one which is hand-signed by Donatella and Cher and priced at $3,350. A portion of the money raised will go to Gender Spectrum, a charity which aims to create safe environments and provide support resources for gender-diverse children and teenagers.
Looking to sell your home –or looking to buy a new one? Realtor.com reports people looking for homes have been put off by fewer homes for sale, and combined with rising mortgage interest rates appears to be dampening demand and leveling out home prices in select regional markets.
Those high gas prices have caused a number of problems. Because more than a few drivers can’t afford to fill up their tanks completely, there’s more stranded motorists on the road. Triple-A says they had more than 50-thousand out-of-gas calls in April, a 32% increase from April of 2020.
Truck drivers are also quitting in record numbers as gas prices soar.
Speaking of higher prices, some manufacturers are coping with the problem by downsizing. Not their companies –their products. For instance, a small box of Kleenex now has 60 tissues instead of 65. The folks at Chobani have trimmed their yogurt from 5.3 ounces to 4.5 ounces. Cottonelle Ultra Clean Care toilet paper, went from 340 sheets per roll to 312. And there’s lots more. Experts call it (ahem) “Shrinkflation.”
Tonight –Friday night—Netflix will be running “Dirty Daddy: The Bob Saget Tribute,” honoring the late comedian with a special honoring his life.
