Looking for love in all the wrong places:
A man in Texas allegedly disguised himself as a female model to trick men into sending him gifts.
The Los Angeles Times says 24-year-old JUSTIN BROWN is charged with masquerading as 23-year-old swimwear model BREE CONDON.
Cops say Brown created fake internet profiles on sites like seekingmillionaire.com, which bills itself as a 'meeting place for wealthy and beautiful singles'. Brown allegedly sent fake nude pictures to potential suitors and even spoke with them on the phone using a fake female voice.
Police are accusing Brown of accepting gifts from various men, including thousands of dollars in cash, along with an iPhone and a small dog. The con came to light when the real Bree Condon hired a private investigator, who then notified authorities. (Still)Reality Round-Up:
Goodbye, Snookie! Quote of the night (last night): "I came in with a bang and I'm going out with a bang!" (NICOLE "Snookie" POLIZZI on the finale of "Jersey Shore"). Snookie hooked up with THE SITUATION in the hot tub to wind up the episode. Tonight, the Boston Herald reports Snookie will rock the dance floor at Shrine at the MGM Grand at Foxwoods. She also says she's had multiple offers to do her own show where she could look for the perfect guy.
"I like a guy who takes care of his body, who likes to work out, with muscles, tan complexion," she says. "He needs to make me laugh. A lot of guys that I'm attracted to on looks don't have the personality I'm looking for but it's about compromise."
And by the way, you better like cats, since she already has three of them, named Racky, Tommy and Vito.Syndication update:
Looks like radio host and comedian STEVE HARVEY will replace "Seinfeld" alum JOHN O'HURLEY on "Family Feud" beginning next fall. He would be the sixth host of the show (although if you count RICHARD DAWSON twice, he's the seventh):
--RICHARD DAWSON 1976-1985
--RAY COMBS 1988-1994
--RICHARD DAWSON again 1994-1995
--LOUIE ANDERSON 1999-2002
--RICHARD KARN 2002-2006
--JOHN O'HURLEY 2006-2010
--STEVE HARVEY 2010-
John O'Hurley says he's leaving to do other things, including performing in the toruing cast of the musical, "Chicago."'Hope for Haiti Now' Concert tonite:
The new Haiti relief song written by U2's BONO and THE EDGE along with JAY-Z is called "Stranded." They'll perform it tonight during the London portion of the "Help For Haiti" telethon. Joining them will be RIHANNA. She told a Norwegian talk show yesterday that she needs to do whatever she can to help those people because Haiti is close to her homeland in Barbados.
FYI: BEYONCE and MADONNA have been added as performers on tonight's telethon. Beyoncé will be in London (with her husband Jay-Z), while Madonna is in New York City. (Marino)KANYE WEST was invited to appear on tonight's "Help For Haiti" telethon, but as of last night, he has not accepted. Yesterday, PopEater.com said the rapper was not welcome at the live event for two reasons: his "GEORGE BUSH doesn't like black people" outburst during the Hurricane Katrina telethon, and because TAYLOR SWIFT is set to perform and no one wants the event to become about Kanye instead of the people of Haiti. But, last night MTV said Kanye was indeed invited but will probably not show up. (Marino)
A new version of "We Are The World" is in the works. Several reports say LIONEL RICHIE and QUINCY JONES will gather together a new set of stars to re-record the 1985 African famine relief anthem co-written by Quincy and MICHAEL JACKSON. Proceeds from the new version will benefit Haitian earthquake victims. Naturally, a music video will be filmed during the recording sessions. (Marino)
