The 411:
Scientists say there's a 22-mile long mist of oil deep in the Gulf of Mexico.
It can't be seen from above and special instruments were used to detect it.
This is the first conclusive evidence of a deep underwater oil plume from the BP spill, and scientists say that it could be a long-lasting threat for marine line deep in the ocean.

McAfee, the home computer security company, has announced it's yearly list of search terms that might get a virus or other malicious software infecting your computer.
Searching for a celebrity is the easiest way to get a virus, according to the company, which says searching for the "latest CAMERON DIAZ pictures and downloads yields a 10 percent chance of landing on a website that's tested positive for online threats, such as spyware, adware, spam, phishing, viruses and other malware."
Other celebrity names which are likely to make you pick up malicious software are JULIA ROBERTS, JESSICA BIEL, GISELE BUNDCHEN, BRAD PITT, ADRIANA LIMA, JENNIFER LOVE HEWITT, NICOLE KIDMAN, TOM CRUISE, HEIDI KLUM, PENELOPE CRUZ and ANNA PAQUIN.London tabloids:
JUSTIN BIEBER is just your average, every day sixteen-year-old that loves soccer --but he can afford a better coach. The teen sensation asked his buddies over at the British tabloid the London Sun to arrange a private lesson with DAVID BECKHAM! The athlete's wife and three sons are all big fans of the heart throb and he's offered to play an intimate show in exchange for a private lesson. (Lee)
Bottom feeding:
HEIDI MONTAG will be celebrating what could be the best Valentine's Day ever next February 14th. If everything goes according to schedule, that's the day her divorce from SPENCER PRATT will be final. Contactmusic.com reports the mister held off signing the documents until August 13th so the split will happen six months and one day later. The two married in April of '09 and the charming groom admitted much of the problem in their relationship is his continual quest for fame. (Lee)
Drug Bust of the Day:
Police in Canada say a pair of pot-growers were using wild bears to protect their crops.
According to Reuters, when cops raided the illegal marijuana farm, they discovered ten large black bears roaming the area. Police say the wild animals were being fed huge amounts of dog food so they'd hang around and protect the area.
At first, authorities were scared the bears would attack them. But, as it turns out, the druggies' plans backfired. Police say the bears turned out to be very tame and didn't give them any trouble. Authorities were able to quickly round up the pot and the growers. (Still)Grace notes:
A PHISH fan is in critical condition after he fell 25 feet from a balcony during a break at the band's concert Wednesday night at the Jones Beach amphitheater on Long Island, New York. The New York Post says the shirtless dude fell headfirst over a railing from the top mezzanine and suffered massive head trauma. He didn't fall on anyone so no one else was injured. (Marino)
Another obvious study:
Are you one of those gals that made it to the top? Congratulations --hope you can find a man that's just as successful. LemonDrop.com reports that a new study shows men in relationships with women who make more money are five-times more likely to cheat! CHRISTIN MUNSCH, a candidate for a PhD from Cornell University, discovered that the numbers aren't really as bad as they sound --just 3.8 of the men in the study strayed from their partner. (Lee)
