The National Enquirer reports AYATOLLAH ALI KHAMENEI has banned all cooking shows that teach how to whip-up non-Iranian dishes in an attempt to erase Western influences from their culture.
   This is sad news for domestic divas across the Middle Eastern country --media critic BILL MAN says programs that feature all-American classics have "won the hearts and stomachs" of the Persian people. (Lee)

Did you watch the PGA's Accenture Match Play this past weekend? If you did, you might have seen golfer BUBBA WATSON's watch --a big, bold and very expensive watch.
   How expensive? Try $500,000-dollars.
   Watson was sporting a very exclusive, a Swiss made RICHARD MILLE RM-038. It generated a lot of buzz from sports bloggers and others as well.
   Editor's Note: It's interesting to read many of the comments on the various blogs regarding Watson's watch. Should Watson be criticized for wearing such a thing in a time of economic instability, or is it no big deal to wear a symbol of his success in very tough professional sport?

Cops in Florida say they've arrested a police impersonator for waving an oversized fork at passing drivers.
   NBC-TV reports 69-year-old HOWARD SCHULTZ is accused of forcing a motorist to pull over while waving a 10-inch barbecue fork at him.
   Schultz allegedly told the victim, "You need to pull over. I'm a police officer." The driver says, when Schultz confronted him with the utensil, he feared for his life.
   Schultz is charged with aggravated battery and impersonating a cop. (Still)

As of today, OPRAH WINFREY has just 34 shows before she signs off her syndicated show for good. Today, Oprah will be taking over the Kodak Theatre in LA for her after-Oscar show along with GAYLE KING.
   Then Friday, it's beack to reruns for the rest of the month until April, when her last series of shows take place.
