Awww

The awning that covers my deck broke. I'm not sure how; I think my kids decided to hang on it in an attempt to copy some scene they may have seen on a movie, probably Scott Pilgrim, but they ain't talking. This awning will roll out somewhat and provide paraxial sun coverage for my deck, but it looks very sad and droopy. The cost of replacing a summer item in its season is staggering compared to replacing this in say January when not too many people in New Jersey are shopping for shade. This scenario goes nicely with a parody song done to the Clash's "Should I Stay or Should I Go Now"....should I pay or should I wait now. There are so many things on her list of needs on my list too and an awning falls somewhere beneath carpet cleaning and shower caulking. I know I'm not the only only already making a list for next year.
