Foils

Here I am at the hair salon, I'm sitting in the rinsing bowl section where numerous women are wrapped in black robes with sheets of tin foil pasted on their head with hair color or bleach. The rinsing chairs recline so all I see are feet underneath these foils. Every time I think about the personality behind the flip flops, tennis shoes and sandals my stylist comes to rinse another section. We all ignore the fact that we look a little alien, it's the price we pay to get the result we want. And speaking of the price, women pay dearly to have their hair colored and cut properly. Sometimes it equals a car payment, other times a couple of tanks of gas. This could be a fun confessional bit on the air. Ask how much she really spends on her hair then include purses and shoes. Then compare that to the price of groceries. On second thought this is starting to sound like an accounting class. Just find a way to give it all away on the air and include a freezer full of meals. Score!
