Eye Roll

My girlfriend Jodi rolls her eyes at everything, she'll say hello to you and roll her eyes, it's a funny habit that could get her into trouble. My other friend Meg says "oh my, oh my," every time almost anything happens. It's her standard response. Dawn's response is to smile when she doesn't know what to say, and my friend Kate gives a quizzical look anytime she's asked her opinion. This look guarantees she's giving thought to what's been asked of her. Kate frequently gives a lot of thought on most things.
These are tiny quirky she-isms friends learn about each other. To me they are endearing slices of people I care about, people who will let me see what's really up with them. Listener interaction is similar, while you can't get as close personally to them, they are still sharing their quirks and life with you. A personality who has created an on air trust that translates into friendship...and hopefully ratings.

She Quote
One thing they never tell you about child raising is that for the rest of your life, at the drop of a hat, you are expected to know your child's name and how old he or she is.

She's Back
Returning home from a vacation can be hard if the house was left in disarray. It's difficult to keep a regular routine and still pack for a trip. With a little planning, she could return home with a smooth re-entry. Besides the basics-stopping the mail, watering plants, and taking animals to kennel-she should leave a ready-to-heat meal in her freezer so she can just pop it in the oven for a quick dinner. Putting clean sheets on the beds a day or two be- fore she leaves helps her bedroom remain fresh. Unplugging all unnecessary appliances will save on her electric bill. Creating a packing checklist helps; two copies are helpful. She can assemble her own packing list simply head over to www.dontforgetyourtoothbrush.com.
