A Disney Moment

I was in Epcot, in the United Kingdom area. A great Beatles cover band was playing to my right, fish and chips were being served to my left and in front of me was a mom pushing a baby in a stroller with a little guy, maybe four hanging on the the side. At first I thought this a sweet sight until I realized this mom was making fun of her small son. "Oh getting tired, crying are we, you should be so glad I took you to Disney" this woman was saying. At first I thought this was a joke but when I saw the boy cry and the mom drag him off down the street I realized this it wasn't. Kids have melt-downs and so do moms. This seemed like more than that. I get the frustration of too many people and kids that get overwhelmed but Disney should not spark meanness just maybe a nap.. Many of my girlfriends, myself included agree that little ones don't need to go to a big theme park experience until they are at least over the age of 5. Really, the beach, a playground, a board game is perfect for little minds. There was nothing I could do for this mom or boy and I wanted to When I talked about this on the air I have a listener call to tell me this was what their family called "a Disney moment". Frankly I think I'll stick with a Kodak moment.
