I've noticed that there are a lot of Groupon's or Living Social Deals that offer spa's, yet when looking back on how they sell they don't do that well. They do okay, they don't sell out, but they do okay. I do have some friends who make sure they get regular spa services. But, most of my friends take the time to get their nails and hair done, yet when it comes to purchasing a half day at a salon or a hot stone massage I think it's more of a gift purchase. I think more men make this purchase, actually. Whereas, if there was a deal on a Sports Bar offered there's a good chance that a woman will purchase that for her man and or friends.

So lets stick with the spa concept. Sending a woman to a spa seems to be second nature in conversation. Spa's are more of a gifting item, yet spa services really promote wellness so much so that we woman really should go more often, but the expense doesn't always allow. Reminding her of her values are key. Giving her a hot stone massage could be even better, especially if it's done within a PPM friendly zone.
