Crew Seats

The last row in the airplane next to where I'm seated is blocked off for crew. When the gentleman I'm sitting next to, or should I say crammed next to (yes it's a three seater filled to capacity) excuses himself I sit in one of the crew seats while waiting for him to return. When he does he sits in my seat, expecting my stay in the crew seats to be extended; which it's not. This row is saved for the flight attendants break. This is a three hour flight so I'm curious of the rules because these are not the seats they sit in for take off and landing. All in the cabin have been served and now the attendants are eating food from first class, drinking coffee out of real not styrofoam cups and passing baby photos in this last back row. They actually seem to be having a better time on this flight than most of the passengers. Perks of the job. What are yours?
