Besides battling whatever winter elements her region hosts, along with her daily routine and perhaps a sick kid here and there, many women are planning their summers now. There could be a blizzard outside her window, but she's shopping online for the perfect beach house. Maybe she's getting ready to stand in line at summer camp registration. Trust me; even with our economic state, those coveted slots at the most popular camps have already had deposits placed on them. Women who work days need to make sure their kids have a place to go when school is not in session. The better the camp, the less guilty she feels working during the summer. Experiences are important too. A friend of mine owns a Disney travel agency. She works from home, takes her daughter to Disneyland for free regularly, and did more than one million dollars in business last year. Families are still spending money on the memories and family experiences. And the more memorable, the less guilt she feels later on.
