I just paid off my kids camp balance for the summer; what a relief. We could shoot back to an article written in January, where I was standing in a long line with the hopes of getting my kids registered at a certain camp for specific weeks. This camp is so popular, the lottery system is used in order to register. I have one girlfriend that got an excellent slot and registered her two kids for everything they wanted. Another friend got a lower number, and only two out of the four weeks needed. Figuring out the rest of her kids summer is now at the top of her list of hints to do. My number fell in the middle and did okay. Swim lessons, arts and crafts, and computers sounds like fun, right ? There's a Cirque Camp I'd like to attend that teaches tricks things a-la Cirque de Soliel. Funny how kids can go to a camp like this for a couple hundred dollars for a few weeks. The adult version of this would be a week at a Club Med with charges in the thousands. I'm not surprised they don't have a need for the lottery system.
