I used to ride my bike to the Dairy Queen when I was a tween. Iʼd spend my babysitting money on a Cherry Mr. Misty then Iʼd bike to the library and read until it was getting dusk, then Iʼd ride home. Now my kids are into frozen coffee's and their iPhones and the coffee options are intense. My youngest daughter walks to Starbucks, where she canswipe her Gold Member card for today's freshest brew and a croissant on the side. Ohyeah, it costs a lot more that my DQ treat and her hard earned dog walking money provides her the funds necessary. You see, my 'mom mind' starts calculating, as it's easy to overdo it at places like this. But while I may go on about the merits of saving, she's just remembering the experience of her purchase. This was a time where shecould be independent, and make her own choice. It may be expensive, but for her, it's fun, and a moniker of her age. But thats what dog walking money is for, isnʼt it?

Even if your entire house is in disarray, there is still hope... I promise! Just pick onesmall area in your home {one cabinet, one drawer, one basket, one file of papers, etc} and start there.
Set a timer for 15-20 minutes and don't do anything else except work on organizing thatone small area. When the timer goes off, you can quit. Then do the same thing againtomorrow.
Almost everyone I know has an extra 15 minutes each day, and if you apply that timetowards an organizing goal, your home and life will be organized in no time.• Get more She Prep at www.ShePrep.com
