Focusing on stories and how they are told, and felt, is my current She Prep focus. After a recent Boot Camp work out, I was preparing to leave the gym, and in passing I said, "have a great day," to a woman I had not seen in class for over a year. You know, a gym acquaintance, someone you share that 'weren't those 20 burpee's in a row fun' look with. Melinda replies "I'll be waiting at Georgia Tech for my 15 year old to finish class." I come to find out this woman's son graduated high school when he was 11; this was after his parents held him back a year. Now, Alex is a junior at Georgia Tech. He's a genius, and autistic, and has just been inducted into the Gamma Beta Phi national honor society, majoring in Material Science Engineering, and at 15, is their youngest initiate. I received this whole story just in wishing Melinda a good day. I'll bet the listener that calls you today has a story to share as well.
