Sleep away camp is a staple for many families; kids grow and get life long memories with their time "away" and families get a glimpse as to what it could be like when that particular family members presence is not felt. Usually, it's a cycle or preparation, release, relax and miss. Can I add in the word cherish too? This is a never ending cycle. Mothers consistently prepare their kids for a situation, hopefully release them into it (this is harder than it sounds) relax, cheer them on, then miss it when it's over. This translates into anything from sleep away camp to school to even getting them ready to attend a birthday party. Mom plans ahead so her kids are prepared. Packing, wrapping, purchasing, researching and guiding happen. Hence the busy.
Right Now SHE could be at playgound with a toddler on her hip, a heavy diaper bag and a five-year old who is running towards the ice cream truck.
